George graduated from the University of Toronto, Victoria College where he received his Bachelor of Commerce degree in 1965. He was admitted to membership in the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario in 1969.

Following his admission to the institute, he joined Imperial Oil of Canada. Posted to the controller’s division, he gained valuable insight into the fields of financial analysis and systems and computer services over a five-year period.

Subsequent to his position at Imperial Oil, George joined KPMG as a Management Consultant. There he became involved in a number of enlightening assignments, and decided, at the end of a year, that it was his destiny to be self employed, which he has been ever since.

Prior to commencing his own practice, he was engaged in a number of entrepreneurial ventures and investment vehicles, all of which fueled his desire to build his own business.

Ultimately George decided to pursue his real passion and open his own accounting practice. He believed then, which is now well over 20 years ago, that there was a niche available in the market to service the independent contractor. He believed that the independent contractor or entrepreneur deserved the same, even better personal service and advice that was, at the time, only available to large companies through large and rather expensive, out of reach accounting firms.

George started with one client, and today his practice alone has over 2000 clients. Wall & Associates is one of only a select few accounting firms that is ISO 9001:2000 registered. In 1997 he founded an association called CA4IT, which is dedicated to serving IT professionals and, together with Wall & Associates, the group serves over 3500 clients.

George is a visionary and he has developed many innovative management strategies to run his practice. These strategies are shared with his associates across the country, and it has been the development of these strategies and their successful implementation that has allowed him to grow his business.

Never satisfied with the status quo, and believing that the power of the computer, properly harnessed can be a major boon to his existing and new clients, as well as those of his associates,

George recently launched (through Wall & Associates & EZ-as-ABC) a revolutionary, interactive web-based patented system of handling & enhancing clients’ accounting & financial planning needs. This system will probably be viewed in retrospect as the most innovative system created in the last century.

Global in its promise, the EZ-as-ABC is George’s first entrée into the International arena, and if the past is any indicator of his ability to penetrate and satisfy the marketplace, the success of this truly outstanding product is assured.
