Using creative visualization can be the key to changing this negative, ego driven downward cycle.
The more you visualize yourself being successful at whatever it is you need to do, the higher the chances are of you achieving your goals. Practice this every day unfailingly, and let go of any negative associations. The last “secret” to creative visualization step is this: TRUST that it has worked, and do not allow doubt to enter your mind. If you do, it’s like saying yes with one hand, and pushing back with the other. So it’s really a three step process: 1. let go of negative associations 2. visualize the positive outcome you seek and 3. TRUST that the process has worked, not allowing that blackest of knaves – doubt – in the door.

You can use creative visualization whenever a mental habit (an attitude, a feeling, association or belief) is preventing you from achieving your best. You can also use this technique when you want to be prepared for difficult or negative situations. It works ESPECIALLY well for job interviews.

By practicing eventual success even when facing daunting obstacles, like job interviews, you’ll have the confidence to be ready for anything that might be thrown at you, however unlikely. If you can vividly recall the worst case scenarios that most cause you to feel fear and trepidation, then mentally overcome such eventualities, the actual event will lose all its power to terrify. So the key is to VISUALIZE, VISUALIZE and VISUALIZE some more!!!
